BASF’s Family of Ambassadors Pull Together to Support Nashville
Members of BASF’s ambassador network made swift, combined efforts to put hundreds of essential items into the hands of Nashville’s displaced tornado victims in March.
Crystal Lawrance, from KTL Restorations, Inc., began working with Vonda Goolsby, Goolsby Customs and Jessica Cruz, Cruzer’s Customs. Together, they teamed up with fellow BASF ambassador Speed and Design to raise money for families who had just lost everything. They set their goal at $1,000, figuring it was easily attainable if each shop could give $100.
By networking with other BASF ambassadors, the team ended up with $3500 – over three times the amount they had hoped to raise. KTL, Goolsby and Cruzer’s worked together to purchase and deliver a long list of items to both men and women’s shelters in Nashville including women’s toiletries, wipes, clothing, food items, plasticware, and items for displaced pets.
“Coming from an area that has seen huge devastation and loss from tornadoes, my heart was broken when I saw the condition of Nashville,” said Lawrance. “These people have lost everything. BASF ambassadors came together within days to offer their support, and I am truly grateful for the efforts put forth by the BASF Family.”
“I am completely humbled by the amazing people in our BASF Family,” said Tina Nelles, Marketing Services Manager for BASF Refinish. “When I hear about them coming together to do something so touching, I know I have the right ambassadors behind my brand.”
