Building the future: Auto Canada apprentices train at Glasurit Boot Camp
At BASF Automotive Refinish Coatings, we believe in investing in the next generation of automotive refinish professionals. Earlier this month, we welcomed five promising apprentices from Auto Canada to our Glasurit Boot Camp at the BASF Refinish Training Center in Toronto. Over three intensive days, they gained hands-on experience with our 100 Line products, fine-tuned their skills, and learned from our expert trainers.
But this was more than just training—it was a stepping stone toward the 2025 Skills Competitions. Each apprentice will soon compete at the provincial level, with the ultimate goal of making it to the national stage and, hopefully, representing Canada on the world stage in the Car Painting competitions.
“It’s incredible to see the passion and commitment these young apprentices bring to their craft. We’re proud to support them on their journey and help shape the future of automotive refinishing,” says Adam Fulton, one of our experienced Regional Training Instructors at the Toronto Training Center.
Their dedication and enthusiasm are truly inspiring, and we are honored to play a part in their journey. Supporting young talent isn’t just about skill development—it’s about building the future of our industry.
A big thank you to everyone who contributed to this experience—our trainers, mentors, and teams who make learning opportunities like this possible, and to our customers for their dedication to training and developing the next generation of refinish professionals. Best of luck to our apprentices!
